Great value for what you're getting and your child will love to learn. Our son gets a kick out of the little squirrel running the show. The cards are good material and the squirrel is a nice plastic material, but very solid.

The audio is clear and the volume can be adjusted, which is nice when using it in different rooms. The recording feature is probably my favorite extra. Kids can record themselves and play it back, which makes practicing words and reading more interactive. The cards are also thick and laminated, so they feel much more durable than ordinary paper flash cards and are easy to wipe clean. I also appreciate that the dinosaur is rechargeable with USB-C instead of needing disposable batteries. Battery life has been good during our use, although there are some reports of shorter battery life, so that may vary. The dinosaur itself feels sturdy enough for normal kid handling. The one thing I would change is the card ring. It can come apart fairly easily, so the cards can end up scattered if you're not careful. There is also a little sound effect that plays before some words, which can get slightly repetitive. Overall, this is a really cute learning toy that manages to be both educational and entertaining. These flash cards are a fun, easy and educational way to play with zero screens involved. The graphics on the cards are colorful and detailed and the squirrel speaks clearly. I love how it came with rings to organize the cards together. Audio on the device is easy to hear. I ordered this for my 3 year old, but even my 5 year old likes to play with it! It would have been really cool if it came with a second squirrel so they could play together!

It really has made my 2 years old busy for hour. It’s best educational start to introduce your kid with a lot of new words and their sounds. Quality is good not so clumsy.

Awesome learning tool, bought this for my grandson he’s one. It’s something you have to do with your baby or child. But super cool! My grandson loved looking at the animals and hearing the sounds they make. Highly recommend!

This is a great educational toy for toddlers! My little one learns new words quickly because the cards talk and make learning fun and interactive. It’s easy to use and keeps him engaged while learning. The only downside is that it needs to be charged, but overall, we really enjoy it!

Everything is compact enough for travel, and USB-C charging means no disposable batteries. only minor complaint is the little sound effect that plays before some words, which can get repetitive. A cute, well-made screen-free learning toy that offers more educational value than expected.

This is the coolest little gadget! I'm not sure who is more impressed, the grandkids or myself! I am impressed with the amount of different cards this little squirrel can identify and mimic the noise simply by placing over the image. The grandkids are amazed and have so much fun making the squirrel make the different words and noises. I'm still trying to figure out how it knows what the image is! The cards are durable enough to handle my energetic 2 year old grandson. The squirrel has quite the battery life because it has been going for hours of play time but comes with a usb cable for charging! It is simple enough to use-the 2 year old was shown a couple of times how to turn it on and he figured out how to maximize the volume on his own. Awesome little device that is relatively inexpensive for teaching kids how to pronounce different things as well as the sounds.

As a grandmother, I always prepared for kids to be "over" a gift within 5 minutes of unwrapping. This gift was a hit DURING the birthday party and was the first thing he went for the next morning. If he never thinks about it again, I consider this gift a success. i didn't pay attention to the VOLUME of cards that were included! Handily, a box is included to help keep the cards and reader together. For now, I'm adding this to my list of options for a 3 year old. If he continues to play with it throughout the day, it will go to the top of the list.

This has been a fun way to sneak in some reading practice without using a screen. There’s a lot packed into the 56 cards, with phonics, words, stories, music, and animal sounds. The pictures are more cartoon style rather than realistic pictures, so that’s worth noting, but the variety gives little ones plenty to explore.The pen is very responsive. Tapping on a picture or word usually brings up a little song, animal sound, or other sound effect first, followed by the word being read aloud. It didn’t take long for my little one to figure out how to use it independently, which I really liked.The recording feature is a nice extra, although it’s pretty basic. A button on the bottom starts the recording, and pressing it again plays it back. There isn’t a memory function, so making a new recording replaces the previous one.The cards are thick, laminated, and handle a little splashing without a problem. They feel much more suitable for small kids than thin paper flash cards. The card ring is the one weak spot. It comes undone pretty easily, so the cards can end up scattered around. I also like that the pen uses USB C charging.

This little squirrel has been a huge hit with my kids! It arrived very fast and in a surprisingly small box. I especially love how compact the entire set is because I can easily throw it in my purse for restaurants, doctor appointments or long car rides.It comes basically ready to use. You turn it on using the button underneath the squirrel and then simply point/touch it to the pictures on the cards. It recognizes them and says the words or makes corresponding sounds. The voice is clear and easy to understand, and you can adjust the volume, which I definitely appreciate.One of the biggest surprises was the recording feature. My kids absolutely LOVE it! They spent at least an hour each just recording themselves and playing it back. Honestly, I think they enjoyed that feature as much as the cards themselves.The set comes with lots of colorful cards covering different words, pictures and subjects. I think it’s particularly nice for toddlers and younger kids who are still learning vocabulary and pronunciation.For me, though, the biggest benefit is having something educational AND screen-free that actually keeps them entertained. I’ve brought ours on car trips, to restaurants and appointments, and it has been great for those moments when the kids need to sit and be patient. I’ve even had other parents see them playing with it and ask me about it.It’s also rechargeable with USB-C, so no constantly replacing batteries. And you probably have them everywhere. Because it’s the same as most phone chargers now a days.Overall, this is a cute, portable and genuinely useful little learning toy. The kids see it as something fun while they’re also learning and spending time away from screens. I would definitely recommend it!

Quality is good, appearance is good, it says the words for you, very colorful, not too heavy and it comes with a ring to hold all your cards.

Card holder and diversity of cards are great. Wish the cards were thicker and more sturdy. My 20 month old has severely bent several already attempting to put them into the slot.
